The medium

A skateboard,

Every edition is laid up over forty-two days. Seven plies of hard-rock maple, reclaimed from decks that already lived a life. Three coats of lacquer. One signature pressed into the nose. We don't believe in warranties — we believe in patina, and in objects that get better with use.

thguaf started in a back room above a loft-turned-skateshop, trading kickflips for craft. Today the studio finishes a handful of objects a year — each one recycled, re-pressed, and signed by hand. The goal has never been volume. It's a piece of quiet you can own, and use.
